So, for anyone not on the facebook or the tumblr: things are going well in RL overall, I start spring semester at UC on Monday, we're both in good health (knock on wood), still looking for a house but have a strong contender for finalist, and we are looking at adopting retired racing greyhounds after we have obtained said house!
Also: still firmly entrenched in Homestuck fandom, but really excited about Elfquest's 'Final Quest' starting up at last.

Life Update - (Not Just) Married!
Sep. 10th, 2013 09:30 pmDucky and I got married on May 20, 2013. I've been waiting to update everyone online until after telling my grandmother and doing the coming out to my extended family thing. Now that's mostly over, we can finally be married on the internet as well as in real life. =P

Sep. 7th, 2013 10:53 amStarting tomorrow we're going to be driving cross-country; we're taking I-80 from Reno through Salt Lake City, then we'll be taking I-70 through Denver, Kansas City, St Louis, then I-64 to Louisville before swinging up towards Cincinnati. If anyone lives along the way and wants to meet up for coffee or something, let me know. =)

Sep. 2nd, 2013 02:04 pm=) She finally let the cat out of the bag, so I can tell everyone now: Ducky got a job transfer from the Reno VA to the Cincinnati VA, so we're moving to Ohio next week!

Good News and a Signal Boost
Feb. 23rd, 2013 09:08 amApparently when they tell you it will take about nine months they really mean six weeks? I'm not gonna complain! Apparently someone in the state of CA likes me, because I actually received my new birth certificate a couple of days before receiving the postcard saying that I would get my birth certificate in a few months. Which boggles me a bit, but no, this is awesome. It's actually a bit anticlimactic, too. =) Major goal achieved, time to keep moving on with life.
School is keeping me really busy,but I'm doing well in my classes and I'm not too stressed. Not much more to report on that front!
